The Power of the Jeremy Williams Story
Even the Cops agreed to watch the show and buy the new CD
Down to the wire. We now have 18 days, 16 hours, 45 minutes, 19 seconds until our episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition airs on May 16th at 8:00 PM EST. I got to work at 2 AM this morning because we have so much going on in preparation for our biggest week ever. Actually, I was here so early, the cops just showed up wondering why someone was in the office so early and they said they could hear my music blaring - and um, well, I'm up on the 8th floor LOL
I have learned over the last few weeks that everywhere I go and with everything I do, there is a huge opportunity to tell the story of the Williams family -especially about Jeremy. Once the cops decided I wasn't robbing the place, I told them what I was listening to - and why. Hear sample
Twenty
minutes later they had agreed to
host a watching party for the
Extreme Makeover episode airing
on May 16th, they agreed to help
raise money to find a cure for
Lou Gehrig's disease and they
purchased a CD of the song I was
blasting - Move That Bus by Mark
McGuinn. Why?
Because of the Power of the
Williams Story about to be told
on Extreme Makeover.
Every taxi driver and waiter I have talked to is now doing the same thing. The group of ladies who work in the building next door that I met Friday are now doing the same thing. And at last count, there are 1,070 people signed up in our Facebook group that have signed up to host a watching party. Why? Because of the Power of the Williams Story about to be told on Extreme Makeover.
All it takes is to tell someone the story about the day Jeremy was diagnosed with ALS. "Twenty four hours is all we're taking off honey," he told his wife Jennifer. "Then it's back to work and we're gonna keep doing what we do. I will allow one day off where we can cry, but that's all." And he's never missed a day of work since.
Or how a man with Lou Gehrig's disease coached a high school football team to an undefeated season. Or one mention of the love in his eyes when he looks at his son Jacob who has Spina Bifida. I don't recall at what point during these stories I knew the Cops were hooked but I remember thinking 'they're hooked". And they were hooked. The rest of their day won't be the same now. Sorta how none of our days have been the same since we met the Williams family.
Who will you tell today?
Someday there will be a cure for Lou Gehrig's disease and with a simple story, the Cops got involved in the fight to find a cure. They bought the new song about Jeremy and his fighting spirit and a portion of the proceeds goes straight to research to find a cure for ALS. They agreed to host a watching party and invite friends and family and they will ask their guests to also buy the song. They agreed to join our Facebook Group 100,000 Fans for the Extreme Makeover for the Williams Family and invite their friends to do the same. They agreed to watch the music video we're releasing in a few days to raise awareness about ALS where we have asked a bunch of Corporate sponsors to donate a penny everytime someone watches the video on our website at www.extremephn.com and they agreed to ask their friends to do the same.
The Power of Jeremy's story has a life changing impact on people and by mobilizing our new police friends to tell their friends who will tell their friends and so on, more people will watch the Extreme Makeover episode, more people will buy the song and more people will join the fight to find a cure for Lou Gehrig's disease. So who will you tell today?
